DAILY RATES
Our working day is 9am-6pm with a half hour lunch break.  It can be hard physical work so the men need to re-fuel as much as the trucks.  As long as everything has been suitably packed, there is no problem with keys or access, and there isn't some other disaster completely out of our control, we always aim to be finished within this time.  Should we go past 6pm hourly rates apply.

HOURLY RATES
Charging starts from when we arrive at your door to satisfactory completion of work at your new home.  We will always round time down not up and round to the nearest half hour.  A discretionary 3 hour minimum is applicable to jobs charged by the hour.

MILEAGE
For jobs over 10 miles we need to factor in fuel and our journey back to base therefore a £1/mile/van surcharge is applicable calculated from your current postcode-new postcode and back to our base as calculated by our GPS.

DATE CHANGES
We do not charge for expected date changes or delays as long as we have at least 48 hour's notice we should be able to adjust our schedule.  In the unlikely event of last minute cancellation we may need to charge a 25% surcharge to cover our costs and losses but will always try to avoid such charges if possible.

PARKING
Any parking costs including fines received whilst carrying out work will need to be covered by the client.

DEPOSITS AND CANCELLATIONS
A minimum charge plus costs deposit is required 10 days before your move date.  We accept deposits by credit card via pay-pal, or by direct bank transfer.  Deposit is fully refundable with at least 48 hours notice of late cancellation.  A surcharge of 25% of the cost of your removal is deductible for last minute cancellations to cover our losses.

INSURANCE
You are insured to a value of £15,000/van-load however if you have a Picasso or require an additional individual cover our insurance company will be happy to provide you a rate of cover to suit your needs.

BREAKAGES
If we break a picture frame or something far too minor to be covered by our goods in transit insurance we will always be open and honest and cover cost of repair or replacement on condition that photographic evidence is provided and responsibility is established with 48 hours of completion of work.  Damages to floors and walls is sometimes impossible to avoid and only covered by some household insurances.  We cannot accept responsibility for any internal problems with Electronic goods unless of course we drop them and there is external damage to the item.  Assembled furniture often made of chipboard is not designed to withstand very much movement, is highly vulnerable to vibration and we cannot always guarantee re-assembly to former glory although 90% of the time will be confident of maintaining function

PAYMENT
We prefer payment of the balance upon satisfactory completion of our work in cash. Your deposit will have covered the minimal costs and if there is an outstanding balance you can settle with your team leader in cash.  If this is inconvenient please let is know in advance and Payment by cheque, bank transfer, or PayPal can be arranged. We need to process this within 48 hours of completion of work.  All paypal payments are subject to a 3% administration surcharge.  LATE PAYMENT: Payment of later than 7 days of your move date may require a surcharge of £25/week thereafter. Please let us know if settling your entire bill upon completion will be a problem for you and we will always do our best to be flexible.
